- Winnipeg Jets remain bottom of the Central Division but they have won three on the bounce
Action from the Central Division in the NHL is set for Jan 15, as the Winnipeg Jets go in search of a third straight win when they travel to the Minnesota Wild.

Wild Aiming to Respond
It has been a challenging period for the Minnesota Wild, but John Hynes’ team remain in a strong position to challenge for a playoff spot this term.
They have accumulated a positive 26-12-9 record this season, and they have been dominant in home games after going 13-4-6. Matt Boldy has been one of the team’s standout stars, scoring a Wild-high of 27 goals.
However, the Wild will need to be defensively better on Thursday following a 5-2 home loss against the New Jersey Devils earlier this week.

Jets Aiming for Fourth Win
The 2025-26 season has been a challenge for the Winnipeg Jets, but Scott Arniel will take huge confidence from the performance levels that his side have shown in recent games.
Despite sitting bottom of the Central Division, the Jets have recorded wins in each of their last three. They still have a losing record this season, but they may yet make a late charge for a playoff position.
The Jets showed great character in their latest outing, recording a 5-4 win over the NY Islanders. Winnipeg showed attacking quality in the second period, scoring on four occasions.

Jets vs. Wild Picks
The Jets would have taken huge confidence from their recent run of wins. But, this could be a good opportunity for the Wild to get their form back on track, and it only enhances their chances after winning 57% of their previous home games with Winnipeg.
