The Islanders bring solid recent form into the clash after winning their previous two, while the Penguins will be looking to bounce back following a recent loss.

The New York Islanders may be a few wins away from securing their spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs. They have shown excellent record form, winning three of their last four, which includes victories in each of their last two.
Across their last two, the Islanders have scored an impressive seven goals, with their most recent win coming in the form of a 5-2 success over the Florida Panthers. Brayden Schenn was in standout form in that success, scoring once and adding two assists.
The increased pressure is likely to be on the Pittsburgh Penguins this week, as they have faltered in recent outings. Pittsburgh have gone 4-4-2 across their last ten, which includes a recent loss against the Dallas Stars.
Defensively, they will need to improve after shipping 15 goals in their last three. It was a night to forget last time out, as the Penguins were beaten 6-3 at home by the Dallas Stars. Erik Karlsson was the standout performer for the hosts in the loss, scoring once and adding two assists.
