Oilers Set Sights on Top Spot
Kris Knoblauch’s Edmonton Oilers appear to be one of the standout Western Conference playoff hopes at this stage of the season.
They have gone 23-16-8 in the NHL this season, and they have impressed at home throughout the campaign, losing just five times in regulation. But, a return to form will be required on Thursday after a shock overtime loss in Nashville at the hands of the Predators on Tuesday.
The team have been offensively strong throughout the campaign, with Connor McDavid leading the franchise with 30 goals.
