Playoff hopefuls collide in the NHL on Jan 21, as the Utah Mammoth host the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Flyers have made a solid start to the new calendar year, but they will need to improve their overall form after losing six of their last ten in regulation.
In contrast, the Mammoth have been in red-hot recent form. They have won their last three, and currently sit in a strong playoff position in the Western Conference.

Utah have recorded wins in each of their last three to sit fourth in the Central Division, while they have also registered victories in seven of their previous ten.

The Philadelphia Flyers will be on the road in the NHL this week, as they bid to improve on their 3-6-1 record across their last ten.
Despite a dip in form, the Flyers still sit fourth in the Metropolitan Division, and they are within three points of the top three teams.
Philadelphia’s confidence would have improved following a win in their latest game, but they will need to find better consistency in their performance levels after losing six times in regulation across their last ten outings.
