The Wild have been impressive throughout the season, and they could be the most likely danger to the Colorado Avalanche in the battle for top spot in the Central Division.
Meanwhile, the Calgary Flames will be aiming to respond on the road this week following a run of four straight defeats.
It has been a memorable campaign to this point for the Minnesota Wild and head coach John Hynes.
They have given themselves a strong chance of achieving a playoff finish in the NHL, and they should be capable of improving on their record over the last ten, which reads 5-3-2. The Wild showed their strength earlier this week, overcoming the Chicago Blackhawks in a shootout.
Meanwhile, they have been one of the standout home teams this term, going 14-6-6 in Minnesota.

It has been a damaging period in the NHL for the Calgary Flames, as they have dropped to seventh in the Pacific Division following a run of four straight losses.
Calgary have won just three over their last ten, and only the Vancouver Canucks have suffered more regulation losses over the same period.
The Flames were last in action earlier this week, losing 4-3 against the Anaheim Ducks in overtime. That loss also means that they have now allowed 13 goals in their run of losses.
