NHL action is set for the Scotiabank Saddledome on Jan 25, as the in-form Anaheim Ducks travel to the Calgary Flames.
It has been an excellent spell in the NHL for the Ducks, as they have climbed to third in the Pacific Division after winning each of their last five games.
Meanwhile, the Flames will be on the comeback trail when they play at home on Sunday, as they bid to snap a two-game losing run.
The Calgary Flames have dropped to seventh in the Pacific Division following defeats in each of their last two. However, their poor run of form has extended across their last ten games, losing in regulation time on six occasions.
Over the same period, they have registered just three wins. Scoring has been a major issue for the Flames throughout 2025-26, reflected by their accumulation of 128 goals, which is the fewest in the Pacific Division, and second-fewest in the Western Conference.
This upturn in form could have been challenging to foresee a few weeks ago after the Anaheim Ducks had suffered a fifth straight loss. However, confidence levels will be extremely high within the camp after winning each of their last five.
Their newfound form continued earlier this week after edging out the Colorado Avalanche in a shootout. Their offensive players have sparkled during their winning sequence, scoring ten goals in their last four.

The Flames have found wins hard to achieve, with many of their struggles being down to their poor offensive record. Therefore, the free-scoring Ducks could be the logical betting angle when making picks on Sunday.
