They have climbed efficiently up to second in the Pacific Division, and a win over the Avalanche could see them overtake the Golden Knights at the summit. Anaheim should be extremely confident ahead of this clash after winning their last five, while they have won eight of their last ten.
Their winning momentum continued last time out after landing a shootout win over the Calgary Flames. The victory enhanced their reliable record at the Honda Center to 20-8-1 in 2025-26.
Jared Bednar’s Colorado Avalanche have been the standout team in the Western Conference throughout the season. They sit top of the current standings, and they have set a number of NHL records already this term.
Confidence should be high within the team after winning each of their last two games. Nathan MacKinnon will be the standout player worth following, as the star has scored a team-high 97 points this term.
The Avalanche were professional winners on the road against the LA Kings on Monday, with Gabriel Landeskog, Martin Necas, and Devon Toews all registering goals.
