Devils Hoping to Respond at Home
The Devils already appear to be in a race against time to secure a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference this term after dropping to seventh in the Metropolitan Division after losing seven of their last ten.
However, confidence can be gained from their latest outing after recording a well-deserved 3-1 win on the road against the St. Louis Blues. Nico Hischier and Dougie Hamilton scored in the win.
However, the Devils were still wasteful in the offensive areas, with Hamilton and Jack Hughes missing nine chances between them.
Panthers Face Prospect of Missing Out on Playoffs
The two-time defending Stanley Cup champions are staring down the barrel of missing out on a playoff spot this term.
The Florida Panthers dropped to the bottom of the Atlantic Division over the weekend after suffering a second straight loss. Florida have now allowed 200 goals in the NHL this season, marking the second-worst defensive record in the division.
Last time out, they were defensively weak, allowing five goals in a road loss against the NY Islanders. Sam Bennett was the one shining light in the defeat, with the forward scoring twice.

New Jersey Devils vs. Florida Panthers Picks
The Panthers have been extremely weak defensively since the NHL action resumed following the Winter Olympics. Therefore, a chance is taken on the hosts. The Devils have won 60% of their previous home games against the Panthers.
