All eyes may already be on Super Bowl LX, but the NHL action should be captivating at the Climate Pledge Arena on Jan 27, as the Seattle Kraken host the Washington Capitals.
The Capitals have dropped to fifth in the Metropolitan Division after losing six of their last ten in regulation, and they will have questions to answer on the road this week.
Meanwhile, the Seattle Kraken have also struggled for momentum over the same period, winning on just three occasions.

Kraken Faltering in Playoff Battle
Seattle Kraken will have the important home advantage this week, but they will need to get their form back on track after winning three of their last ten.
They have been too easy to beat in regulation time over that period, suffering defeats in half of their games. A major issue for the inconsistency has been their offensive threat, netting just 143 goals.
However, positives would have been taken from their win over the New Jersey Devils in their latest game. Jordan Eberle and Berkly Catton both scored goals in the success.
Caps Aiming to Respond
There is also likely to be increased pressure on the Washington Capitals this week, as they bid to bounce back from a recent loss to get their playoff battle back on track.
The Caps have won just three of their last ten, and they have lost six times in regulation over the same period. Washington currently sit fifth in the Metropolitan Division.
However, their offense is one of their biggest assets, having scored the second-most goals in the Division. But, their defensive play let them down last time out, as they were beaten 6-5 in overtime by the Edmonton Oilers.
