The Caps have shown solid recent form after winning six of their last ten, while the Flyers will be chasing a fourth straight win at the Capital One Arena.

Caps Remain in Playoff Hunt
The battle for playoff places in the Eastern Conference looks set to go down to the wire, and the Capitals remain in the thick of the action. Washington have shown excellent recent form, and they will be chasing a third straight win on Tuesday.
The Caps have excelled offensively in their previous two, scoring eleven goals in wins over the Vegas Golden Knights and Utah Mammoth. Their most recent success was achieved via a shootout against the Golden Knights, with Cole Hutson ending the night with two assists.
Flyers Making Playoff Charge
The Philadelphia Flyers are currently the form team in the Metropolitan Division, having won each of their last three. Meanwhile, no side in the Eastern Conference has won more than the eight victories registered by the Flyers over their last ten.
Philadelphia maintained their excellent recent form on Sunday evening, as they edged to an overtime win against the Dallas Stars. Travis Konecny and Trevor Zegras scored the efforts in the home win.
