The NHL action continues on Jan 6, as the Buffalo Sabres bid to bounce back to winning ways when they host the Vancouver Canucks. Find our picks here.
Buffalo have been in standout form since the start of December, winning nine of their last ten games. However, they suffered a shock defeat in their latest outing in the NHL.
This year has been a disappointment for the Canucks, as they remain bottom of the Pacific Division. Vancouver come into this road game after losing each of their last three.

It has been a productive period for the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL, and they will still hold realistic claims of achieving a playoff finish in the Eastern Conference.
They come into this round sporting a 21-15-4 overall record, which includes victories in nine of their last ten games. However, they were way below their usual high standards over the weekend when suffering a 5-1 road loss against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Being back in front of their home fans will be a plus, as the Sabres have gone 12-5-2 at the KeyBank Center in 2025-26.

This season has been a major struggle for the Canucks, and they remain at the foot of the Pacific Division. In fact, only the Winnipeg Jets have picked up fewer points than Vancouver in the Western Conference.
The Canucks have gone 16-20-5 in the NHL this season, but they hold a respectable 5-3-2 record across their last ten. Despite that, they come into this road game after suffering defeats in each of their last three games.
Vancouver were last in action over the weekend, as they were beaten 3-2 following overtime by the Boston Bruins.
