Questions are beginning to be asked of the Florida Panthers, as the reigning Stanley Cup champions have dropped to the bottom of the Atlantic Division after losing their last four games.
Florida have suffered six regulation time losses in their last ten, while they have now allowed 181 goals in their 55 games.
Their defensive issues were apparent in their latest outing, suffering a 5-3 home loss against the Buffalo Sabres. Sam Reinhart was one the few players to impress, registering two assists.

The Boston Bruins are well in the mix for a playoff finish this season, but they will be hopeful of getting back on track after a recent defeat.
Despite that loss, the Bruins have won seven of their last ten, and they have lost just once in regulation across that period.
Boston rank among the leading scorers in the Eastern Conference this season, netting an impressive 191 goals. Marco Sturm will be slightly disappointed with their record on the road this season, as they have gone 11-12-3.

The Panthers have struggled defensively throughout the season, and that is a major concern ahead of the visit of an offensively strong rival. Therefore, the narrow edge is given to Boston to continue their current hot streak in the NHL before the Winter Olympics.
