Stars in Division-Leading Form
It could be argued that Glen Gulutzanβs Dallas Stars may be the team to watch in the Western Conference at this stage.
They have made up ground on the teams at the top of the Central Division after winning six of their last ten. They have also been consistent at home and on the road, winning 14 of their 24 at the American Airlines Center.
Dallas maintained their winning form earlier this week after landing a 4-3 overtime success against the Winnipeg Jets. Miro Heiskanen and Matt Duchene both ended the night with two assists apiece.

St. Louis Struggling for Form
It has been a different story for the St. Louis Blues this season, as they currently have a losing overall record of 20-27-9.
The Blues have also lost six of their last ten in regulation time, and are currently the team with the worst offensive and defensive records in the Central Division.
St. Louis dropped to another defeat earlier this week, losing 6-5 against the Nashville Predators. That loss means that they have now allowed 15 goals in their last three.

Blues vs. Stars Picks
Based on the recent form of these two sides, it is incredibly challenging to foresee any other outcome than a win for the Stars. Dallas have also won 53% of their previous games with the Blues at the American Airlines Center.
