The Jets sit higher in the current standings after going 12-7-0 this season. That form sees them sit third in the Central Division rankings.
It has been an encouraging start to the season for the Jets, and they could close the gap on the top two in the Central Division with a victory on Sunday.
Winnipeg have won 12 of their opening 19 games in the NHL this season, and they currently have one of the best defensive records in the competition.
Their winning sequence has seen them claim victories in six of their last ten, which includes wins in each of their previous two.
It's unlikely that the Minnesota Wild will be fazed by this challenge, as they come into the weekend in excellent form. They have recorded wins in seven of their last ten.
Meanwhile, they have lost just twice in regulation across the same period. A solid run of form is brought into this weekend, winning each of their last three.
Their reliable form continued in their latest outing at home, as they held their nerve to overcome the Carolina Hurricanes in a shootout.

Based on the recent form of both of these sides, this should be a high-quality showdown in the Western Conference on Sunday.
