The Florida Panthers have enjoyed a reliable start to the new NHL season after winning five of their opening eleven games.
However, questions could be asked of their offensive output, as they have scored just 27 goals.
Despite that, they sit third in the Atlantic Division. However, a response will be required this week after suffering a shootout loss at the hands of the Anaheim Ducks in their latest outing.
The Dallas Stars have been competitive in the Western Conference so far this season.
They come into this weekend sitting fourth in the Central Division. Their form in recent weeks has been very strong, winning each of their last three to improve their record to 6-3-1.
Like the Panthers, their offensive output still raises questions, as they are the second-lowest scorers in the Central Division.
