It doesn't seem that long ago that the Sharks were cut away at the bottom of the Pacific Division. However, they have reversed their fortunes in excellent style after winning seven of their last ten.
They have been much more challenging to beat over that period, suffering just two losses in regulation time.
Their latest win was achieved on Tuesday after overcoming the Utah Mammoth in overtime following three goals by Macklin Celebrini.
The LA Kings still sit in a strong position in the NHL at this stage of the season, as they are third in the Pacific Division.
However, they have suffered three defeats in regulation time across their last ten. It should also be worth noting that they have recorded six wins over the same period.
But, a return to form will be required this week after they were last in action, losing on the road against the Washington Capitals earlier this week.
