The Detroit Red Wings have seized top spot in the Atlantic Division over the last seven days after winning each of their last two.
Their spot at the summit has also been strengthened after the Tampa Bay Lightning have suffered four straight losses. The Red Wings have gone 16-11-3 this season, and they have gone 4-4-2 across their last ten.
Detroit’s most recent success was a straightforward 4-0 win on the road against the Vancouver Canucks, with Andrew Copp, Dylan Larkin, and James van Riemsdyk all scoring.
