The competitive action in the NHL continues on Oct 16, as the Scotiabank Arena hosts a showdown between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Rangers.
The Rangers have had a below-par start to the campaign, suffering defeats in three of their first five games.

Craig Berube's Toronto Maple Leafs are still seeking to establish consistency in the NHL this season.
Toronto come into this round after winning two of their four games this term. Meanwhile, they have already suffered two regulation-time losses in the first week.
However, Toronto's confidence would have improved on Tuesday after scoring seven goals in a win over the Nashville Predators. Unsurprisingly, Auston Matthews was the standout star in the victory, netting twice from five shots.
Based on the first week of the season, the New York Rangers appear to be miles off the pace in the race for a playoff spot in 2025-26.
The Rangers have already suffered three defeats in regulation time this term, and they have registered just two wins. A sign of their issues was reflected in their recent 2-0 loss against the Edmonton Oilers.
The Rangers struggled in the offensive areas of the field, and that will need to change if they are to mount a serious playoff challenge in 2025-26.
It hasn't been the start to the season that either of these teams would have been hoping for. Therefore, there will be pressure on both the Maple Leafs and the Rangers on Thursday.
However, it could be challenging to overlook the home win when making Rangers vs. Maple Leafs picks based on Toronto's strong attacking display against Nashville on Tuesday.
