Tampa have been one of the form teams in the East across their last ten, winning on seven occasions. That run of form has lifted them up to fourth in the Atlantic Division.
It has been a below-par start to the season for the Rangers, but they gained momentum in their latest outing after recording a rare victory.
DATE & TIME
Lightning Bidding to Strike Again
The Tampa Bay Lightning have stylishly gone about their business in the NHL so far this season.
They come into this round sitting fourth in the Atlantic Division after winning seven of their last ten. Confidence levels will also be high after registering victories in each of their last two.
They battled excellently in their latest outing to record a 3-2 home win over the Washington Capitals. Brandon Hagel and Jake Guentzel scored goals in the recent home win.
Rangers Aiming for Consistency
The New York Rangers have been one of the biggest disappointments in the NHL so far this season.
They come into this week sitting sixth in the Metropolitan Division, having gone 8-7-2 across their opening 17 games. Meanwhile, their lack of consistency is reflected after winning five and losing five over their last ten.
However, they do come into this clash after a recent win over the Nashville Predators. Artemi Panarin scored twice in the 6-3 home success.

Rangers vs. Lightning NHL Picks
There is little to separate the sides based on the head-to-head meetings, while it is important to note that the Rangers would have gained confidence following a big win on Monday.
However, the Lightning still look like the logical play based on their form across their last ten games in the NHL.
