It has been a reliable start to the new season for the Winnipeg Jets, and they will be chasing a fourth straight win in the NHL on Saturday evening.
Winnipeg maintained their winning sequence with a straightforward success on Thursday after overcoming the Philadelphia Flyers.
Despite being on the road, the Jets powered to victory after scoring twice in each of the second and third frames. Mark Scheifele was a standout performer after scoring twice.
The Nashville Predators have endured an indifferent start to the new season, but their issues have intensified in recent games following their two-game losing streak.
Defensively, the Predators have been poor during that losing sequence, allowing ten goals.
Their most recent loss was suffered on the road on Thursday after losing in overtime against the Montreal Canadiens. Nick Perbix and Steven Stamkos scored the goals for Nashville in the loss.
