The Panthers have dropped to the bottom of the Atlantic Division standings following a miserable run of results. Over their last ten, they have suffered six losses in regulation time.
The LA Kings will have the home-ice advantage this week, as they chase a second straight win, and a sixth win in eleven.
The LA Kings have enjoyed a solid start to the 2025-26 NHL season.
They come into this home game after winning six of their opening 14, which leaves them sitting fourth in the Pacific Division standings.
The Kings have also won half of their last ten games, which includes a victory in their latest outing against the Winnipeg Jets. Adrian Kempe, Kevin Fiala, and Drew Doughty scored the goals in the recent win.
The Florida Panthers have been the dominant recent force in the NHL, winning each of the last two editions of the Stanley Cup.
However, this season has been a struggle for the reigning champions. A poor start to the campaign has seen the Panthers lose six of their last ten in regulation time.
That run of form sees them sit bottom of the Atlantic Division. The Panthers suffered a damaging recent defeat on the road, shipping seven efforts against the Anaheim Ducks in a blowout loss on Tuesday.
