Seattle come into this clash following a recent win, but they remain sixth in the Pacific Division after going 3-6-1 over their last ten.
Meanwhile, the Mammoth will be chasing a positive result this week after losing each of their last three. That run of form means that they have suffered seven regulation losses in their last ten.
Despite sitting fifth in the Central Division, there will be major pressure on the Utah Mammoth to get their form back on track this week.
Utah have suffered seven regulation defeats in their last ten games, which has seen their overall NHL record drop to 14-15-3 this term.
The Mammoth suffered a 4-3 home loss against the Florida Panthers in their latest outing, conceding the decisive goal in the final frame. Dylan Guenther scored twice for the Mammoth in the loss.

The Seattle Kraken will also have pressure on their shoulders this week, following a run of 3-6-1 over their last ten. That dip in form has seen Seattle drop to sixth in the Pacific Division standings.
However, a win on Friday could see them rise up to fourth this week. The Kraken will at least take confidence from their latest outing after picking up a 3-2 overtime success against the Los Angeles Kings.
Vince Dunn, Jared McCann, and Matty Beniers all scored goals in that success.

The Mammoth looked more efficient in the offensive areas in their latest outing, despite losing at home to the Panthers. That could give them the confidence boost required to end their losing sequence on home ice this Friday. Therefore, the narrow edge is given to Utah.
