The Kings will have the home ice advantage, as they bid to close the gap at the top of the Pacific Division. However, they come into this clash following a defeat in their latest outing.
It could be argued that the Flames bring the better form into this clash, winning six of their last ten. However, they remain seventh in the Pacific Division standings.
The LA Kings remain in a strong position to achieve a playoff finish this season, as they sit third in the Pacific Division.
However, they will need to respond this weekend after seeing their two-game winning run ended on the road by the Seattle Kraken earlier this week. Seattle eventually gained the upperhand over their rivals in overtime.
But, the Kings have constantly struggled in home games this season, winning just four of their 13 games. That is worrying, especially considering that ten of their 14 wins have come on the road.

The Calgary Flames will be the visitors to Los Angeles this Saturday, as they chase a win to maintain their excellent run of recent results.
They have gone 6-3-1 over their last ten, but like their opponents, they will need to respond following a recent defeat. The Flames were last in action as they were beaten 4-3 by the Detroit Red Wings.
MacKenzie Weegar was among the scorers in the defeat. Their road record will need to improve as the season progresses, as the Flames have gone 5-11-2 so far this term.
