Something will need to change in the NHL this weekend for the Tampa Bay Lightning, as their poor start to the campaign sees them sit bottom of the Atlantic Division.
The Lightning will have home ice advantage on Oct 25 when they host the Anaheim Ducks. However, they come into this crucial round after suffering defeats in their last three games.

A lot of pressure will be on the home team this weekend, as the Lightning bid to get their form on track.
Tampa currently sits bottom of the Atlantic Division standings. Meanwhile, they have the joint-worst offensive record in the competition.
The Lightning have suffered defeats in each of their last three games. Furthermore, they have registered just a single win in regulation time in 2025-26.
The Anaheim Ducks have made a fairly reliable start to the new season. They currently sit fourth in the Pacific Division standings, and have gone 3-2-1 so far this term.
The Ducks come into this round after a recent win. However, they will play back-to-back nights on the road this week, as they collide with the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.
Their defensive record has been strong so far this term, allowing just 20 goals. No side in the Pacific Division have allowed fewer goals.
