An all-Western Conference affair is set for Crypto.com Arena on Dec 4, as the LA Kings and Chicago Blackhawks collide. Both teams will be aiming to put recent defeats behind them, and you can find our picks here.
The Kings continue to sit high in the Pacific Division standings, with only the Golden Knights and Ducks having accumulated more points. However, they will be chasing a response following a loss in their latest outing.
Meanwhile, the Blackhawks have gone 3-4-3 across their last ten, and they sit fourth in the Central Division.
It has been a consistent campaign for the Kings to this point, and they sit in third in the Pacific Division standings.
They have accumulated an overall record of 12-7-7, but they have offensive issues that they will need to address, having scored just 69 goals in 2025-26. The Kings were edged out by the Washington Capitals in their latest outing, suffering a 3-1 defeat on the road.
Their only effort in the loss was scored by Adrian Kempe. Their home form would be a major red flag this week, as the Kings have gone 2-5-2 at Crypto.com Arena.

The Chicago Blackhawks will also be on the comeback trail this weekend after winning just three of their last ten.

Last time out, they were narrowly defeated following a shootout against the Vegas Golden Knights. That defeat saw their road record slip to 5-4-3 in 2025-26.
