The Ravens and Vikings face off in a key clash this week. Both teams are on the playoff bubble, needing to keep winning to remain in contention. Baltimore is favored with Lamar Jackson back.

The Ravens got a much-needed win last week against the Dolphins. It was a complete effort with both sides of the ball bouncing back. Having starting QB Lamar Jackson back on the field was the greatest boon for Baltimore, allowing them to improve to 3-5 following the win. Their early struggles have erased any margin for error, but the Ravens still have a path to the playoffs if they manage to finish 6-3 or better.

The Vikings bounced back from a 37-10 loss to the Chargers with a upset win over the Lions in Detroit. Minnesota continues to be one of the toughest teams to pin down on a weekly basis, but the return of QB J.J. McCarthy is likely to provide them with some consistency. The Vikings are still well in the mix of things in the NFC North, hoping that the health of McCarthy and RB Aaron Jones can spur on a winning streak.

This clash between the Ravens and Vikings is infinitely more interesting now that starting QBs Lamar Jackson and J.J. McCarthy have both made their returns to the field. Minnesota holds the advantage of playing this game at home, but needs to be wary of a surging Baltimore team. The Ravens are a much better team than their record indicates and should maintain their momentum now that Jackson is back.
