Panthers Eyeing Up Division Title
The Panthers watched the Buccaneers lose as they enjoyed their bye week and then once again on Thursday night, allowing them to rise into 1st place in the NFC South. Despite their -50 point differential, Carolina's strong defensive play as of late has put them in a position where they now control their own destiny. The next test is a winnable game in New Orleans, though the Panthers lost their first matchup.

Saints Headed Towards Top-5 Pick
The Saints managed to earn their second win in the past four weeks against the Buccaneers, but were also mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. They currently sit 5th in the projected 2026 NFL Draft order. As New Orleans continues to play better football down the stretch, they are also at risk of jeopardizing that position. Tyler Shough will continue to stake his own claim to stay as the QB this week.

Panthers vs Saints NFL Pick
New Orleans got the better of the Panthers in their first matchup back in Week 10. However, the results of that matchup are unlikely to have an impact on the rematch. Both teams have been playing better lately, with Carolina suddenly in 1st place in the division. With Bryce Young finally showing some improvement, the Panthers should be able to take down a Saints team that has much less to play for in this game.
