The Eagles and Commanders meet in a divisional clash on Saturday. Washington has shut down injured QB Jayden Daniels for the season, making it a tough task to win this game, even at home.

The Eagles are closing in on back-to-back NFC East titles, aiming for a win this week to make it a reality. They haven't faced much competition within the division this year, with the Cowboys, Commanders, and Giants holding a combined 12-29-1 record. Yet, the Eagles are just 2-2 in divisional play with losses on the road to the Giants and Cowboys. They will look to avoid repeating that pattern this week in Washington.

The Commanders finally snapped their 8-game losing streak on Sunday, needing a matchup against the 2-11 Giants to do so. It's a lost season for Washington, having now officially shut down QB Jayden Daniels for the remainder of the season. At 4-10 and eliminated from postseason contention, the Commanders will have a long offseason to focus on what went wrong to regress so much, aside from all of the injuries.

Despite Philadelphia's tendency to lose to divisional opponents on the road, they'll have a big advantage in this game. Competing for a division title against a team that is now shifting their focus to next year will surely make for a visible difference in effort. A complete blowout like what happened to Washington in Minnesota may not occur, but the Eagles should win this game comfortably enough to cover the spread.
