The Cowboys vs Giants face off this week in a classic divisional bout. Both teams have already been eliminated from playoff contention, but will certainly still fight to defeat their bitter rivals in Week 18.

Cowboys Seek Rivalry Win

The Cowboys improved to 7-8-1 last week, gaining an opportunity to finish the season at the .500 mark. Even so, Dallas is eliminated from postseason contention, shifting their focus to next season. They already released struggling CB Trevon Diggs and will enter a period of rebuilding to work on fixing their ailing defense. Before the season ends, though, they'll have one more opportunity to take down a bitter division rival in the Giants.

Giants Eyeing Draft Position

Rookie QB Jaxson Dart completed 22 of 30 passes for 207 yards in the Giants 34-10 win over the Raiders. He added 48 rushing yards and two TDs on the ground, showcasing his dangerous ability as a dual-threat QB. Dart's success has a rookie is a light amidst the darkness for the Giants, who are both one of the worst teams in the league and just gave up the #1-overall pick for the second year in a row. They'd fall further with a win.

Cowboys vs Giants NFL Pick

Conventional wisdom favors taking the Cowboys to win and cover, but both teams being eliminated makes things more unpredictable. The Giants have several coaches and other personnel coaching for their jobs right now, including interim head coach Mike Kafka. There's a good chance they enter with more motivation than the Cowboys. In no universe do the Giants miss an opportunity to further damage their long-term success.
