Commanders Seek Bounce Back Win
Washington continued to struggle on Sunday, losing 44-22 to the Cowboys. The defensive issues that plagued them in last year's postseason have lingered and reared their ugly head once again. The Commanders now sit at 3-4, needing to win 9 of their last 10 games to match last season's 12-5 record. A big reason behind their struggles has been the regression of QB Jayden Daniels, who is also banged up.

Chiefs are Starting to Heat Up
The Chiefs started this season slow, but have quickly returned to form. Their 31-0 thumping of the Raiders marked their 4th win in the last 5 games. Kansas City's defense has been especially impressive in those four wins, allowing only 11.5 pints per game. They've relied on their defense over the past couple seasons to make up for a lack of weapons for Mahomes to target. They'll aim for another strong result on defense.

Commanders vs Chiefs NFL Pick
Kansas City's dominance over the past month has resulted in quite a large spread in this game. While the Chiefs undoubtedly have an advantage at home, I'd be a bit wary taking them to cover here. Washington is due for a bounce back and is a much better team than the Raiders team the Chiefs stomped last week. Look for them to improve on offense and keep this game close enough to cover the 12.5-point spread.
