- The Bills took their first loss of the season to the Patriots, losing by a score of 23-20.
- Atlanta was on their bye last week, after defeating the Commanders 34-27 in Week 4.
- These two teams last faced off on January 2, 2022, in a game that the Bills won 29-15.
The Bills and Falcons match up this week in what should be an exciting game. Buffalo is hoping to bounce back after their first loss of the season, but they will face a rested Falcons team on the road. Despite that, the Bills enter this game as slight favorites thanks to their stellar offense.

Bills Look to Rebound from Loss
Buffalo was unable to improve to 5-0 last week, losing at home to their rivals. The defeat against the Patriots is sure to wake up a Bills team that may have been lulled into a false sense of security. This week's matchup with Atlanta provides both an ideal challenge and bounce-back opportunity. Look for RB James Cook to bounce back and have a bigger impact in Week 6 after being surprisingly quiet against the Pats.

Falcons Face Bills Fresh off Bye
Atlanta had an early bye week, getting the week off to prepare for this showdown with the Bills. The Falcons have flashed their talent at times, such as their 34-27 win over the Commanders in Week 4. On the other hand, their 30-0 loss to Carolina the week prior illustrates just how inconsistent Atlanta has been. Against a solid Bills defense, Bijan Robinson will be key in taking the pressure off of Michael Penix.

Bills vs Falcons NFL Pick
Atlanta's week off may have given them extra time to prepare for this game, but it also brings the risk of throwing them out of rhythm. It's hard to imagine this Bills team losing two games in a row to lesser opponents, especially after a bitter loss to their rivals. Atlanta's talented offense should keep them in it until the end, but ultimately Buffalo is likely to pull away and win this one by a TD or more on the road.
