Cincinnati held a 31-16 advantage entering the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, New York outscored the home team 23-7 in the final frame to pull off the improbable come-from-behind win.
In addition to blowing a double-digit lead, the Bengals' defense allowed a whopping 502 total yards (including 254 on the ground) against a team that was 0-7.
Chicago Looks To Bounce Back From Disappointing Showing Against Baltimore
On the other side, the Bears were facing an opponent that did not have its star quarterback under center. Theoretically, they were in a position to extend their win streak to five games.
Despite outgaining Baltimore 125-8 in the first quarter, the Bears produced just six points and didn't reach the end zone until the fourth quarter.

Chicago pulled within seven points with 5:06 left to play. However, a 14-yard reception by DeAndre Hopkins and Derrick Henry's two-yard touchdown run enabled the Ravens to coast to a 30-16 victory.
Bengals vs Bears NFL pick
Despite their epic meltdown against the Jets, Cincinnati enters this contest as a 2.5-point underdog. Here's a look at what you need to know for both teams ahead of this Week 9 matchup.
- The Bengals are 1-5 straight-up (SU) in their last six games.
- Cincinnati has covered the spread three times in its previous nine outings.
- The Bears are 4-2 in the last six contests between these ball clubs.
- Chicago is 4-1 ATS in its previous five matchups.
Taking into consideration the Bengals' abysmal defensive effort last week and Joe Flacco's questionable status, taking the Bears and the small spread feels about right.
