49ers Aim to Stay Afloat Despite Injuries
The 49ers benefited from George Kittle's return this week, after he struggled in his first game back last week. Yet, Kittle being back and McCaffrey's continued dominance in the receiving game have not been enough to fully jumpstart San Francisco's offense. With QB Brock Purdy and top WRs Ricky Pearsall and Brandon Aiyuk remaining out, they will need to bounce back defensively to aid the banged-up offense.

Giants Suffer Another Devastating Blow
The Giants have had quite the up-and-down season, with it continuing into Philly on Sunday. After their collapse last week in Denver, the Giants fell to 0-5 on the road following the loss to the Eagles. Even worse than the defeat was a devastating injury to promising rookie RB Cam Skattebo. Having already lost star WR Malik Nabers, New York is just hoping that Jaxson Dart can stay healthy as they plan for the future.

49ers vs Giants NFL Pick
The 49ers are only favored by 2.5 points in this game, despite their 5-3 record. The distance of travel, recent struggles, and compounding injuries are all surely playing a role. On the other hand, while the Giants are 2-1 at home, they continue to lose important pieces. Expect this game to be relatively low-scoring, with the 49ers ultimately winning it by more than enough points to cover the 2.5 point spread.
