  • Oregon stomped Texas Tech in the Orange Bowl, winning 23-0 in a defensive rout.
  • Indiana continued to fully dominate in a 38-3 win over Alabama in the Rose Bowl.
  • These two teams last faced off back on October 11, in a game that Indiana won 30-20.

Oregon and Indiana face off in the CFP Semifinals in a key rematch. The Ducks are looking to avenge their only defeat of the season, but face an uphill battle against the absolutely dominant Hoosiers.

Oregon Seeks Revenge for Sole Defeat

Oregon enters this game with a 13-1 record. Their only loss came against the undefeated Hoosiers, who they'll now face off with once again in the Semifinals. After losing by 10 at home in the previous matchup, the Ducks will need to find another gear to have a chance at evening the score and advancing to the Finals. They can lean on the recent success of their thriving defense, which shut out the Red Raiders in a dominant victory.

Indiana's Magical Run Continues in Semis

Each week, the success of Curt Cignetti's Indiana Hoosiers reaches new levels of impossibility. After spending a century as one of the losingest programs in college football, the Hoosiers are 14-0 and coming off of a 38-3 thumping of Alabama in the CFP. QB Fernando Mendoza has all but locked himself into the top overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but he still has up to two more games to flex his talent. Indiana will be tough to stop.

#5 Oregon vs #1 Indiana NCAAF Pick

If there was any chance that Indiana might crumble under the pressure of expectations as the last unbeaten team, it would have happened last week. Not only did the Hoosiers beat Alabama, but they dominated them from start to finish. Betting against Indiana now is a fool's errand, especially against a team they already beat by two scores on the road. Oregon is certainly talented, but they don't have enough to take down Indiana.
