Hurricanes Look to Cap off Miracle Run

Miami pulled off their third upset of this current CFP on Thursday, defeating a surging Ole Miss team. Having now dispatched the #2, #6, and #7 ranked teams in the country, the Hurricanes set their eyes on what is a brutal uphill climb against Indiana. QB Carson Beck has provided Miami with a high level of experience and solid play, but he'll need to be at his absolute best to test the Hoosiers on defense. Miami's defense is also key.

Indiana Remains Purely Unbeatable

Indiana didn't slow down for even a second in their beatdown of Oregon. Having been the only team to avoid losing after their first-round bye in two years of the expanded CFP, the Hoosiers prove again and again they are simply built different. It's a miracle what head coach Curt Cignetti has done in just two seasons with the previously losingest program in college football. He and QB Fernando Mendoza now set their eyes on 16-0.

#10 Miami vs #1 Indiana NCAAF Pick

It's no surprise to see Indiana favored by 8.5 points, despite Miami's defensive dominance. The Hoosiers have been simply unbeatable as of late, and remain the country's only undefeated team. It's possible that the Hurricanes clamp down on defense and keep this game low-scoring enough to cover, but the odds are stacked against them. Even with the game taking place in Miami, Indiana maintains a notable advantage.
