Hurricanes to Extend Dominance Over Hokies

Miami is currently sitting 5th in the ACC standings with an 8–2 overall record and a 4–2 conference record. The Hurricanes are on a two-game winning streak with wins against NC State and Syracuse. A win this weekend on the road would further confirm the Hokies’ terrible season.

Carson Beck, the Hurricanes’ QB, will be looking to build on his 18 passing touchdowns so far this year. He’ll look to connect with his No. 1 option, Malachi Toney, who already has 5 touchdowns and 59 receptions this season.

Hokies Going For Upset at Lane Stadium

Virginia Tech’s year so far hasn’t gone as planned, so the Hokies will be looking for redemption anywhere they can find it. Lane Stadium will host Miami, where Virginia Tech comes in as a big underdog at +17.5. They’ve lost four of their last five games but hope to upset their ACC rivals this weekend.

They’ll be led by starting QB Kyron Drones, who has thrown four interceptions in his last five games, so he’ll need to be sharp in this one. The senior is in his final year of eligibility and will be looking to end his collegiate career with a strong push. His passer rating is the lowest it has been in his career, but he still has time to turn it around.

#15 Miami at Virginia Tech NCAAF Pick

The matchup between Miami and Virginia Tech points strongly toward the Hurricanes as the likely winners. Miami is favored with a -17.5 spread and a 48.5 over/under total. The moneyline sits at a whopping -900 for the Hurricanes and +550 for the Hokies.

I have no doubt that Miami will most likely win this game. However, I’m not sure they will cover the spread, which is why my recommended pick for this matchup is Virginia Tech +17.5 on the point spread.
