Indiana Continues Historic Run
Indiana improved to 12-0 last week, setting a new program record in wins. They eclipsed last season's 11-win total, which had also set a record at the time. Now 23-2 in the Curt Cignetti era, the Hoosiers prepare for their toughest challenge yet, the 12-0 Buckeyes. A win would be absolutely historic for an Indiana team that hasn't beaten Ohio State since 1988. QB Fernando Mendoza faces the ultimate test this week.
Ohio State Seeking Another Title
Ohio State is seeking back-to-back college football championships. After spending most of the season undefeated and ranked #1, they'll face the only other unbeaten team. The Buckeyes beat an equally strong Hoosiers team last year by 23 points, but this year should provide a much closer result. Without home-field advantage, Ohio State will turn to their suffocating defense to make things tough for Indiana.
#2 Indiana vs #1 Ohio State NCAAF Pick
Everyone tuning into this game will be wondering if Indiana can pull off the impossible and claim the #1 spot in the College Football Playoff. They hold a slightly better point differential at +401 than the Buckeyes at +351. This game should come down to the wire, which makes a field goal margin quite realistic. Taking Indiana to cover the 4-point spread is the safest bet in what should be a thrilling game.
