Georgia Looks to Repeat as SEC Champs
Georgia is a lock to make the CFP at 11-1, but still has much to play for in this game. Aside from bragging rights, the Bulldogs will also claim a 1st-round bye if they manage to win this game. They've gotten the better of Alabama more in recent seasons, but this year they came up short by a field goal. QB Gunnar Stockton and company will be hoping to avenge that loss by winning back-to-back SEC Championships.
Alabama Seeking to Reclaim Top Spot
Alabama has likely secured a CFP spot, even if they take a 3rd loss in this game. That being said, they'll be in much better shape if they can earn their second win over Georgia on the season. The Crimson Tide have been very consistent this season after their letdown opening loss to Florida State. Their defense has been especially impressive, allowing no more than 24 points in a single game since that opening defeat.
#3 Georgia vs #9 Alabama NCAAF Pick
Georgia and Alabama have played some fantastic rivalry games over the last few seasons, including SEC title games. The Crimson Tide won the regular season rendition this year on the road, giving them the advantage in this game. That being said, Georgia has played superb football since then, going 8-0 with a pair of ranked wins. In a game that should go down to the wire, I see the Bulldogs winning this rematch.
