BYU Cougars pay a visit to the Iowa State Cyclones in a Week 9 clash in colege football. BYU is currently undefeated and Iowa State is coming off two losses in a row. The game will be played at the Jack Trice Stadium, with the Cyclones looking to start winning again.

BYU has played Iowa State in five previous occasiones, all of them coming as losses. However, this time around, the Cougars are much better equipped to end the streak and stay undefeated this year. The Cougars are ranked 11th, whereas Iowa State is unranked with a two game losing streak, which is perfect to rewrite history.
Undefeated at 7-0, leading the Big 12 standings and coming off wins against Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Stanford, amongst others. A lot of this is thanks to their QB Bear Bachmeier, who has 9 TDs so far.
As mentioned previously, the only thing Iowa State has in its favor is that they are at home and have never lost to BYU. The Cyclones have handled BYU in each meeting so far, but last time they played was two years ago and things have changed a bit.
They'll need to rely on their QB Rocco Betch, who has 9 TDs and 1622 passing yards so far. But their defense will need to be perfect as well, going through their DB, Marcus Neil Jr, who already has 45 tackles this season.
Interestingly enough, the undefeated team is not the favorite for this game. Iowa State is favored by -2.5, despite the fact that they are in a bad streak and their rivals are 7-0. The over/under is 49.5. The money line is ISC at -130 and BYU at +110.
We'll be rooting the BYU as our recommended pick for this game with a +2.5 spread. We feel that the Cougars are motivated to get their first historic win versus the Cyclones, despite being the visiting team.
