Vanderbilt and South Carolina meet in a highly anticipated SEC battle. The Commodores are one of just two undefeated teams remaining. They will be aiming to stun the #2 Gamecocks on the road.

Vanderbilt continued to stun the college basketball world this week as they improved to 20-0 on the season. The Commodores won their second top-10 test of the season against Michigan, staking their claim to one of the top ranks in the country. Their schedule is brutal down the stretch, with 8 of their final 10 games coming against ranked teams. Vanderbilt starts that stretch on Sunday with a huge challenge against South Carolina.
South Carolina was stunned by Oklahoma on Thursday, ending their 14-game winning streak in the overtime defeat. The Gamecocks led by seven points at halftime but struggled against the Sooners in the 3rd quarter before eventually being outscored by a wide margin in overtime. They will have an opportunity to remain ranked in the top-3 if they can defeat Vanderbilt in this game before the AP Voters convene again on Monday.
Vanderbilt continues to defy expectations, giving them a real chance of winning this game and improving to 21-0. That being said the Commodores haven't had a huge amount of tests yet this season. They won the few they did by close margins at home. Against a South Carolina team that is thirsty for blood on the road, Vanderbilt may find themselves outmatched. Take the Gamecocks to get back on track with a win in this one.
