The MAC Quarterfinals are underway as the Massachusetts Minutemen face the undefeated Miami (OH) RedHawks at Rocket Arena. The game will be available to watch on ESPN+ and presents a perfect opportunity for the RedHawks to strengthen their March Madness odds.

UMass has gone 1-6 in its last seven games, though it did just snap a six-game losing streak. During that skid, the Minutemen lost to their upcoming opponent by just two points, so expect them to be motivated to get revenge. It is very unlikely they make the March Madness bracket unless they win the MAC Tournament.

The Minutemen are led by their top scorer, Luca Bettiol, who averages 17.8 PPG. Jaylen Curry also serves as the perfect counterpart to Bettiol, acting as the primary ball-handler and a strong perimeter scorer.
What a tremendous season Miami (OH) is having so far, as it continues its quest to remain undefeated for as long as possible. The RedHawks are not a sure thing for the NCAA Tournament just yet; however, if they continue this streak, they should have very attractive March Madness odds in their favor.
Peter Suder has served as their primary scorer, so he should lead the way again here. Eian Elmer will be active on the glass as the team’s leading rebounder, while Luka Skaljac should continue to showcase his playmaking ability as Miami’s assist leader.
It should come as no surprise if Miami (OH) continues its winning streak against the Minutemen. The game has the RedHawks at -7.5 on the spread, with an over/under of 166.5.
