The UConn Huskies are hosting the St. John’s Red Storm in a Big East Conference battle with high stakes for their March Madness odds. The game will be played in Hartford, Connecticut, at PeoplesBank Arena and can be viewed on Peacock and NBCSN.

The Red Storm are looking to sweep UConn this season and cement their status as Big East leaders. Their overall record is 22–5, and they have an impressive 15–1 mark in conference play. A win against the Huskies will definitely boost their March Madness predictions when the tournament comes around, especially if they lock up that Big East title.

St. John’s comes into this game as the underdog, despite riding a 13-game win streak and having won the first matchup against UConn earlier this month by 9 points. Another important stat is that St. John’s has won three straight against their rivals.
UConn has an extremely important game on its hands here, with a chance to jump St. John’s in the Big East standings and get revenge for their earlier loss this season. The Huskies are 25–3 overall and 15–2 in the Big East.
They’re projected to land around a No. 1 or No. 2 seed in most March Madness odds, so this is a prime opportunity to show their rivals what they’re really worth. UConn will need to bring more physicality and toughness against the Red Storm to avoid getting bullied like they did in the first meeting.
UConn is coming off a home loss to Creighton but managed to get back on track against Villanova. They are favorites at -5.5 with a 146 over/under. The Moneyline has UConn -212 and St. John’s +168.
