St. John’s has been very impressive this season, posting a 29-6 record and riding a six-game winning streak, highlighted by a win over UConn to capture the Big East title. The Red Storm also handled Northern Iowa with ease in the first round and will look to carry that momentum into this matchup against Kansas.

Zuby Ejiofor has been their standout player, averaging 16.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. As a team, St. John’s holds advantages over Kansas in several categories, including steals, assists, and points scored. They absolutely have a chance in this matchup, but they will need to play a very strong all-around game to get the win.
The Kansas Jayhawks are a blue-blood program that has had a somewhat ordinary season by its own standards.
