Oklahoma and Texas meet in a top-10 edition of the Red River Rivalry on Sunday. They've each fallen into the middle of the SEC standings, eyeing this game as a key opportunity to regain some ground.

The Sooners have enjoyed an impressive turnaround since losing three gams in a row earlier in the month. Since then, they've won three straight, starting with one of their best wins in program history against #2 South Carolina. Oklahoma needs to put this momentum to good use with their schedule not easing up any time soon. Trips to #4 Texas and #5 Vanderbilt are up next, with two more ranked road tests not long after.
Texas dropped a couple of tough road games last week but has since gotten back into the win column. They remain on pace for a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament, needing to avoid an upset against Oklahoma to maintain that position. The Longhorns boast one of the nation's most efficient defenses, led by Rori Harmon. Future lottery pick Madison Booker provides the engine on the offensive side of the ball. They'll both be key.
The Sooners and Longhorns meet this week in a key SEC battle. Oklahoma is on the rise after upsetting South Carolina and is looking for another key win in this game against Texas. While they've been playing great basketball lately, the Sooners may have some trouble with Texas' stout defense in this matchup. Couple with the home-court advantage the Longhorns hold, they should be able to keep Oklahoma from winning.
