Ohio State and Maryland meet on Sunday in a key Big-10 battle. The Terrapins will look to remain as the conference's second-highest ranked team. They face a challenge against Ohio State's defense.

Ohio State currently holds a 14-2 record on the season. Their two defeats came against #1 UConn and #4 UCLA, proving their ability to win consistently against all but the very top competition. Still, with no ranked wins the Buckeyes will need to find a second gear to avoid another disappointing result against #8 Maryland. Sophomore Jaloni Cambridge has been on of the nation's top scorers, but continues to struggle from 3-point.
Maryland bounce back well in the past week, beating Indiana and Rutgers after taking their first loss of the season to Illinois a week and a half ago. The Terps currently hold just one ranked win, against top-10 Kentucky, looking to earn another key victory in this game. They currently project as a 4-seed in the NCAA Tournament, despite ranking #8 in the AP Top 25. Oluchi Okananwa leads the way on offense for Maryland.
This is an intriguing game between two highly-ranked, but fairly untested Big-10 teams. Both teams have capable scorers and a strong defensive scheme, making this a pretty even matchup. The most notable area of advantage is home-court, which favors Maryland in this matchup. Take the Terps to win this game at home.
