Saturday afternoon brings us the game of the day, with the Kansas Jayhawks paying a visit to the Iowa State Cyclones at Hilton Coliseum. This is a top-10 matchup, with Kansas having just ended Arizona’s undefeated run in their last game, and Iowa State coming off a loss.

Kansas is probably feeling extremely motivated coming off a win against the #1 team in the nation. They are currently on an 8-game winning streak and sit at 19–5 overall. They’ll look to remove another “undefeated” tag this weekend as they try to win in Hilton Coliseum.
The Jayhawks are led by their freshman standout, Flory Bidunga, who is averaging 14.9 PPG on 68.6% shooting. This will be the second meeting between these teams this season, with Kansas having already blown out Iowa State 84–63 in Lawrence.
Iowa State is in better shape than the Jayhawks in terms of overall record at 21–3, however, Kansas has already beaten them this season and also has a better Big 12 record. The good news for the Cyclones is that they haven’t lost a game at home, and Hilton Coliseum is known for its hostile environment.
The Cyclones will be out for revenge and will need all they can get from sharpshooter Milan Momcilovic, who is averaging 18.4 PPG. Joshua Jefferson is also playing great with 16.2 PPG and 8.2 RPG.
The home team, Iowa State, is favored by -5.5 on the spread, relying heavily on the home-court advantage. The over/under is 142.5, and the moneyline is Iowa State -265 and Kansas +215.
Kansas has had time to rest since their last game and is coming off a massive win against Arizona. They’ve already proved they can beat the Cyclones earlier in the season. Our pick is Kansas +5.5 on the spread.
