We have an ACC rivalry battle on our hands, with the NC State Wolfpack paying a visit to John Paul Jones Arena to take on the Virginia Cavaliers. The Wolfpack are coming off a huge win against the Tar Heels, but now face another tough test on the road against a red-hot Virginia team.

The Wolfpack come into this game as underdogs, with a 19-8 record and 10-4 in the ACC. With a win on the road in Charlottesville, they'll increase their march madness odds and probably cement their ticket into the tourney. The Wolfpack is 7-2 in their last 9 games, with a massive statement win against the Tar Heels in their last outing.

The team is led by Quadir Copeland and Darrion Williams, two players who share the offensive load and dictate the team's tempo. On the other hand, Ven Allen Lubin is the rim protector and rebound collector for the pack.
Virginia is currently on an eight-game winning streak and is 13–1 in its last 14. Their overall record sits at 24–3, with a 12–2 mark in the ACC. They’re still one game behind Duke, whom they might have caught in the standings if the Blue Devils hadn’t beaten Michigan this past Saturday. Nonetheless, Virginia can’t take its foot off the pedal if it wants a real shot at the ACC title.
Virginia has quietly built one of the most balanced teams in the conference, averaging 82.0 PPG while allowing only 68.0 PPG. The Cavs’ current level of play is strong enough to justify their March Madness odds as a likely protected seed once the tournament tips off.
Both teams have enough to win the game, however, the home team are favorites due to their hot streak and current form. Virginia is -5.5 with an over/under of 151.5.
This will be a tough game to predict, but we have a hunch that Virginia will cover the spread against the Wolfpack. Our recommendation is Virginia at -5.5.
