The Miami (OH) RedHawks head to Ohio to face the Bobcats with a chance to end the regular season undefeated at 31–0. This would be a massive feat for the program and a great college basketball storyline heading into March Madness.

The only unbeaten team in Division I college basketball, and #19 in the country, is looking to stay perfect in their final game of the regular season. They are currently 30–0 overall and 17–0 against MAC opponents. A win at Convocation Center in Athens would look great when the March Madness predictions come around.

The RedHawks are known for their elite offense, scoring 90.3 PPG on an impressive 53% from the field. This is an all-around team effort, as their highest scorer, Peter Suder, averages just 14.8 PPG. They’ll need a big game from him, along with Eian Elmer and Luke Skaljack, if they want to complete their coveted perfect season.
The Ohio Bobcats have a chance to ruin their rival’s shot at history while also boosting their own March Madness odds in a couple of weeks. They are currently 15–15 overall and 9–8 in the conference, so their next game will determine whether they finish the season with a winning or losing record.
The Bobcats are 10–5 at home but are at a disadvantage with an 8–12 mark against teams with a winning record. They enter the game as underdogs but have a real chance to get the win if Jackson Paveletzke is able to have a monster offensive game.
We have to say, most people are probably rooting for Miami (OH) to stay undefeated—except for the Ohio Bobcats, of course. The spread favors the RedHawks at -5.5 with a 159.5 over/under. The moneyline is Miami (OH) -245 and Ohio +200.
We would love to see the RedHawks make history, so our pick will be Miami (OH) -5.5. The over/under is attractive, as this projects a high-scoring game, but we’ll stick with the spread as our recommended pick.
