LSU to Build on Strong Week
LSU bounced back from back-to-back losses last week with a win against Georgia, and then took a major step forward in a huge win against #2 Texas. The Tigers handed the Longhorns their first defeat of this season in the victory, highlighting how impressive it was. LSU shouldn't have to deal with any resume doubters moving forward, but earning a key win over Oklahoma would further aid their case for an eventual top seed.
Oklahoma Looking to End Skid
Oklahoma dropped to 14-3 from 14-1 following a pair of ranked losses. Their schedule won't ease up quite yet, with LSU coming to town followed by a trip to South Carolina. The Sooners struggled on offense in their two defeats, scoring just 63 points per game. They will be relying on leading scorer Aaliyah Chavez to bounce back from a pair of inefficient performances in which she shot 14-45 from the field and 7-22 from downtown.
#6 LSU vs #13 Oklahoma NCAAW Pick
Oklahoma should get a boost from their home-court advantage in what is shaping up to be a key SEC matchup. That being said, their recent losses don't inspire much confidence in their ability to beat highly-ranked teams. LSU is coming off of a major win against Texas and should be able to take down Oklahoma too.
