The Arizona Wildcats will be looking for revenge when they host the Kansas Jayhawks at McKale Memorial Center in Tucson, Arizona. The Jayhawks upset the Wildcats, who were ranked #1 in the nation at the time, back on February 9 in Lawrence.

The Kansas Jayhawks are coming off an impressive home win against the Houston Cougars. This puts them at 21–7 overall and 11–4 in the Big 12. Despite their underdog status for this game, a win here would be huge, as it would not only boost their March Madness odds, but also give them a sweep over their conference rivals.

Kansas will rely on their star players and frontcourt role guys, trying to use the same formula that worked in their first meeting this season. Their star, Darryn Peterson, has been in the news lately over rumors that he “load manages” his minutes, but he has denied those claims altogether.
Arizona has only lost twice this season, one of those losses coming against their upcoming rivals. They are 26–2 overall and 13–2 in conference play. At home, the Wildcats are 14–1 while shooting 50.3% from the field.
They’ll need all the help they can get from Brayden Burries, who has been their primary scorer, averaging 15.5 PPG on 37.2% from three. Their other guard, Jaden Bradley, is leading the team in assists with 4.7 APG, firmly establishing his role as the floor general.
With both teams putting up elite performances this season, this showdown in Tucson will have a big impact on their March Madness odds and seeding. The Wildcats are favorites at -8.5 on the spread with a 146.5 over/under.
We believe in payback games as one of the most gratifying elements in sports. We do think Arizona will exact their revenge on Kansas, but likely in a relatively close game. We’ll take Kansas +8.5 on the spread, giving us a chance to cash if it stays tight, or if the Jayhawks even manage to steal the win on the road.
